We are in Champion, PA now. We got here Thursday. Not a long trip (160 Miles) but about 40 miles around Pittsburgh was under construction. Most of it had concrete barriers right up to the lanes. White knuckle driving.
The park is really nice. when we first got here it was almost empty. I should have known what the weekend would bring being about 30 miles from Pittsburgh, it is packed now. we definitely will not use the pool before Monday when it will empty out.
The reason we stopped he is to see the Flight 93 (9/11 plane crash) temporary monument' we will do that Monday and leave for Chesapeake VA Tuesday. It is 325 miles so not sure if we will do it in 1 day or not.
