Yellowstone

We went to Yellowstone NP last Sunday. What a beautiful place.

Lots of Bison here. They think they own the roads.

Lots of snow also. Some drifts higher than our RV

We got here about 11:00 AM and the weather was super. Our campsite still had lots of snow.

We spent the afternoon exploring the southern part. Yellowstone Lake is still frozen. You can see the ice line in this picture.

The next day we visited some of the gushers and hot mud pools

Next we went looking for animals. Bison still own the roads. We saw deer, pronghorn, elk and chipmunk. Did not see bears or wolves.

We were planning to stay longer but the bad weather moved in. We woke up to a snowy day. Heavy, wet snow so we could not go any place. We did not have internet or cell phone, we lost satellite TV with the snow clouds. I checked on the weather, found out that the next day would be clear and then our planned travel day would be snowy. We decided to leave during the clear day.

We are now in White Sulphur Springs, MT for nine days.
This is the view from my desk.
Not much to do here so I will not blog much. They do have some interesting "Mom and Pop" restaurants here.
