Today was a big day. We traveled about 140 miles on the Blue Ridge 
Highway(in the car). We were a week late for peak leaf colors but it was pretty anyway.
We took Freddy with us. On the way back, we stopped in Mt Airy to see what we would want to do tomorrow. We stopped at Wally's gas station to inquire about the ride in the sheriff's car. Barney Fife's standin took us right then. It was a good tour, about 40 minutes, even had sirens. Freddy even got to ride in the cop car also. we are pretty tired roght now. Tomorrow we do the walking tour.
