Thackerville, OK
We made it to OK, 37 miles from Lake Texoma. We have had some high winds here. Several tornados touched down Thursday evening about 35 miles north of here. One pretty much destroyed two schools, killed at least one person and hurt some others.
Yesterday we had substaining winds of 20 to 25 MPH, gust up to 40 MPH. It was so windy that we pulled in our slide-outs.
Today has been great.
The scissor tailed fly catcher is Oklahoma's state bird. This one spent most of the morning with us. I did not take the other picture. Note the long tail.Yesterday we had substaining winds of 20 to 25 MPH, gust up to 40 MPH. It was so windy that we pulled in our slide-outs.
Today has been great.
Lots of oil wells here, not much else.
