Nice day today 4th of July. The park is full. They had several carnival type food vendors in, a live band and games. The pool was full. We had taco's and funnel cakes.
The very small town near here, St Bernice, has a park just across the fence from us. They make a navy bean with ham soup and serve with cornbread free. Tonight they had their fireworks display. We were able to sit in our motor home and watch. Freddy did not like it but as long as I would hold him, he was OK.
In town Tuesday, Cathy asked the owner in the local restaurant if she had butterscotch pie. "No but if you want some I will have my niece make one." What a good pie. Our friend Carl Lamb would love this restaurant. They usually have fresh Rhubarb pie. All the food we ate there was great.
We start packing tomorrow and leave Tuesday. Long day, 140 miles, to Batesville IN. We plan to visit Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Museum while there.
