Here we are in Advance NC, about 35 miles north of Charlotte. Got here yesterday. We were planning to go to several NASCAR shops but it looks like we will have bad weather. we go to Flat Rock for a Trek rally next Tuesday so maybe we will come back here.
We went out for bar-b-que last night. There are 2 places here that have excellent bar-b-que. I had a plate but Cathy had the sandwich. It comes with chopped meat and cole slaw. We love these locally owned small restaurants and this area is noted for good bar-b-que.
Gotta go, the sun just came out and we are taking Freddy for a walk.
